An analysis based on a diagnostic conducted in consultation with more than 40 local organizations led to the definition of three strategic priorities for the Côte d’Azur FLAG:

  • Adapt Blue Economy sectors to current climate and environmental challenges
  • Encourage synergies between Blue Economy sectors through participatory processes
  • Develop innovative projects aimed at creating jobs and improving quality of life in the region

Each action is driven by a genuine need identified in the territory beforehand.

These strategic priorities are broken down into 5 action sheets, each outlining specific objectives:

  1. Promote the sustainable economic development of Blue Economy sectors within the Côte d’Azur FLAG territory
  2. Preserve the balance of local ecosystems and mitigate the effects of climate change
  3. Promote Blue Jobs among local populations within the Côte d’Azur FLAG territory
  4. Foster cooperation between the Côte d’Azur FLAG territory and other regional, Mediterranean, and European coastal areas
  5. Coordinate and manage the Côte d’Azur FLAG within the framework of the CLLD-EMFAF program
