From 24 to 26 September, the National EMFAF CLLD Days brought together nearly 130 maritime stakeholders on the Île des Embiez. Participants included actors involved in community-led local development (CLLD) under the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF).

The programme featured round tables, thematic workshops, a project forum, presentations of local stakeholders, and numerous opportunities for exchange. These discussions made it possible to:

  • Showcase the diversity of initiatives funded by EMFAF at national level;
  • Share experiences and discuss common challenges such as the protection of marine ecosystems, the creation of new value chains, the development of short supply chains, and support for young people entering the sector;
  • Build synergies between territories in order to develop innovative projects promoting sustainable fisheries and aquaculture.

EMFAF CLLD once again confirmed its key role as a powerful lever for development in support of coastal territories and maritime sectors.

Many thanks to all participants, speakers and partners for the quality of the exchanges and their commitment to a sustainable future for our seas and oceans.
